If you love beaches and suntans, or if you are keen on outdoor activities and excursions, our Bed & Breakfast perfectly meets your needs.

In Italian the words “Acqua e Fuoco” mean “Water and Fire”, which are the two major features of this part of Sicily: the water of the Mediterranean sea and the fire of Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe.

Located in the very historical heart of Riposto, a small seaside town on the east coast of Sicily, our B&B is very close to the most important tourist attractions of the area: Mount Etna, sandy and stony beaches, the famous and beautiful Roman Greek town of Taormina, the river Alcantara with its canyon, the baroque city of Catania, the medieval little towns in the surrounding areas, the many typical gastronomic villages and wineries nearby, and much more.

The house has an informal style, with a charming old flavour which recalls the atmosphere of some Montalbano stories, major character of the novels by the popular Sicilian writer Andrea Camilleri. It has been restored to include today’s standards of comfort and facilities offering a pleasant stay to the traveller. The  rooms have private shower rooms, hairdryer, satellite TV, DVD player, ironing facilities, balconies, air conditioning system, bed and bathroom linen. The common room has a big marble table, where breakfast is served, a TV set and a sofa where you can just relax.*

The taste of Sicilian traditions is of course also reflected in our generous breakfast. It includes delicious home made jams, local honey, typical Sicilian cakes and biscuits, Italian coffee, juices and local fruit.  Different options for breakfast are always possible if wished.

The B&B Acqua e Fuoco is owned by Sergio who is an expert hiker and cyclist and would love to help you plan your stay.

* A self-catering solution is available for groups who wish to stay independently (6/8 beds, kitchen, 4 bathrooms, terrace).
